Soils Contest 1st place winners Amber Brenner and Samantha Shirley, with FFA Advisor Dawn McGuire and board member JoAnne Ehasz
April winners of the WOW award are Parker High School Junior Amber Brenner and Freshman Samantha Shirley. They are the 1st Place Yuma District winners in the soils contest. The soil contest consists of texturing soil, learning the soil profile and a 50-question written test. They competed against 5 Yuma schools and did a great job!

Chef G Michael is accepting the WOW award from board member Oz Enderby and CRUHSD Director of CTE Rob Rime.
The WOW winner for Wave Outstanding Work went to Chef G. Michael Harris of MCC. He has retained and recruited students for Culinary Arts for the last two years. His students served a gourmet dinner with Chinese specialties for the board members and guests at the October 5 meeting. Congratulations to Chef Harris!
