Culinary Pathways
Western Arizona Vocational Education (WAVE) is a career and technical education (CTE) district that helps high school students prepare for life after graduation — whether that means entering the workforce immediately or continuing their education. One of the primary ways WAVE achieves this is by removing the cost barrier to college coursework.
Wave works in three ways -
- Partnerships with local high school CTE programs.
- Payment of tuition and fees for high school students & recent graduates to attend CTE programs at local community colleges.
- Specialized training through our Central Campus courses (Fire Service, Culinary, Nursing).
Our Culinary Program has two locations to choose from.
- WAVE Culinary - Located in Lake Havasu.
- Mohave College Culinary - Located in Bullhead City.

Turn a love of food into a career. Students earn industry certifications and high school elective credits while building real kitchen skills, leading through FCCLA and CCAP, and gaining experience with internships and community events.
