February WOW and WOWSA Announced

Mrs. Jurrius was recognized for her positivity and enthusiasm. It is contagious and felt by all whenever she is around. She makes her lessons fun and engaging while also ensuring her students gain the knowledge necessary to succeed. Colleagues, administrators, and students have all shared their positive sentiments about her noting she is hardworking, kind, and dedicated. We are excited to have Marise as CTE teacher at KUSD!  

The WAVE Outstanding Work Student Award recipient, Marilyn Ochoa, stands out as a hard-working, diligent student and HOSA Vice President. She has showed resilience after a health set back last year and does not shy away from "hard tasks." Her instructor, Mrs. Jurrius, noted that, "Marilyn is kind hearted young lady, who has deep empathy for her fellow students and teachers and whose focus is on the right things in life. We appreciate and honor her for her hard work, but more than that, for the exceptional human being she is and the light that she shines.She is a worthy ambassador for our school and I am extremely proud of her."
