Roanan, thank you for being such a conscientious, dependable leader whose love of learning and creating makes you a pleasure to work with. We’re so proud of you! 👏🎭
Congratulations to our November WOW Award winners, William Rose and Lauren Snyder!
This year, William and Lauren took on a big move together. Stagecraft moved into a new classroom, and Construction Technologies moved into the former stagecraft space. They worked alongside CTE staff, school and district administration, SSC facilities and maintenance, IT, industry partners, and many others to make it happen. Through every change and unexpected circumstance, they stayed flexible, handled challenges with grace, and kept their students and each other at the center of every decision. 💙
🎭 Lauren thoughtfully designed the new stagecraft space with an instructional room, shop, sewing and costume room, and design room. Her work with industry partners like MC2 and Beale Theater is giving students real connections to the world of live production.
🔨 William built a construction space where students can practice the full range of trades, including concrete and masonry. His class runs in crews so students experience real job-site roles, and his career center gives them access to business cards and job postings in the construction field.
Thank you, William and Lauren, for going above and beyond for your students and your programs! 👏
