Education Pathways

Western Arizona Vocational Education (WAVE) is a career and technical education (CTE) district that helps high school students prepare for life after graduation — whether that means entering the workforce immediately or continuing their education. One of the primary ways WAVE achieves this is by removing the cost barrier to college coursework.

Wave works in three ways - 

• Partnerships with local high school CTE programs.
• Payment of tuition and fees for high school students & recent graduates to attend CTE programs at local community colleges.
• Specialized training through our Central Campus courses (Fire Service, Culinary, Nursing).

Start your teaching career before you graduate high school.

Arizona needs teachers, and WAVE can help you get a two-year head start. Through our partnership with Mohave College, WAVE students can begin earning college credit toward the Associate of Arts in Education while still in high school — at no cost to you.
