April WOW Award It is with great pleasure that we announce Michael Giannamore as the April WAVE Outstanding Work (WOW) Award recipient. Mr. Giannamore is the CTE Instructional Coach. His patience, problem solving skills and commitment to teachers' growth and success make him an asset to the CRUHSD and WAVE team. Congrats, Mr. Giannamore!
WOWSA - April 2025 Nicholas Reed and Aubrey Goodwin were presented with the April WOWSA at the recent WAVE Governing Board meeting at River Valley High School. Both students recently participated in their respective CTSOs of SkillsUSA and FCCLA. Nicolas is a first year Air Transportation student and second year fire service student. He was commended for his willingness to help others along with his strong work ethic. Aubrey is a first year culinary student. Her leadership and commitment to excellence stand out. Congratulations to both of these outstanding students!
WOWSA - March 2025 Cody Jaynes is a busy young man! Cody aspires to be a firefighter/paramedic and is gaining hands on experience prior to graduating high school. He's in the high school fire service academy, participates in SkillsUSA, takes DE classes and is enrolled at MCC for his EMT certification course. He plans to apply for the LHC fire apprenticeship program after graduation. And, as Mrs. Becker states, "He consistently demonstrates the character and skills necessary to excel in his chosen profession!"
WOW March 2025 The March WAVE Outstanding Work Award goes to Tony Mallinger, Business Management teacher, from Lake Havasu High School. It has been a big year for Mr. Mallinger and his students. Three of his stock market game students earned a Top 10 spot and trip to Washington DC, the Knights Corner student store was started and the FBLA student organization is growing and excelling! Thanks for being part of the WAVE and LHHS team!
February WOW Award The February WOW Award goes to April Moulton, the Graphic Arts teacher, from Kingman High School. Along with being kind, positive and flexible, the program has started a new student enterprise in printing this year. Thanks for being a part of the WAVE team!
